About Me
Ali Caldwell works with all classes once a week providing a specialised music programme. She is an enthusiastic and capable teacher, and is a highly skilled music specialist. She has an enthusiasm for her work which sees children achieving high standards within a varied and stimulating music programme. Ali also coordinates our school marimba, choir, rock band and guitar groups.

About Me
Mr Hunter works with all classes once a week providing a specialised Physical Education programme. His calm practicalities, and determination that all children are able to participate in his PE lessons, ensures that these classes are a highlight for many children each week.

About Me
Gina began teaching in 2005, spending nine years in Special Schools. After time at home with her whānau, she returned to education in 2014 and has since worked in a range of teaching and relief roles. She is passionate about building strong relationships and creating supportive learning environments where every child can thrive. In 2026, Gina stepped into the role of Maths Acceleration Programme teacher.

About Me
Miss Tall has been teaching for eight years, with seven of those spent as part of the Tahatū team. She has a real passion for teaching maths and brings great energy and creativity to her classroom. Miss Tall builds strong, positive relationships with her students and whānau. She is committed to creating a learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Wenjing Guo

About Me
Wenjing is our Mandarin Language Assistant this year, and brings her bubbly personality to our classes every day. All children in years 2-6 have regular lessons in Mandarin across our school, and learn about the language and the culture of China. Our new entrant and year 1 children have occasional lessons with her across the year.
Elizabeth Faithful

About Me
Elizabeth is a very experienced teacher, having taught from years 1-8 in her time in schools. She is a trained reading recovery teacher, and is one of our expert literacy teachers, supporting our Tier 2 children with the extra time they need to make shifts in literacy. Elizabeth is passionate and knowledgeable about visual arts, and brings this to her children's learning.
