About Me

Brigid uses her special skills to enhance the learning of her students. She is an experienced teacher with very well structured literacy and mathematics programmes and rich learning experiences across the rest of the curriculum. Brigid has real strengths in te ao Māori, and leads this learning area in our school, and by example in her classroom.

About Me

Anna joins us in 2026 from eight years teaching in England. A New Zealand trained teacher, she started her career in South Auckland, before moving over to England. A bubbly, friendly teacher, Anna has a proven record of working hard to meet the needs of every child in her care, and enabling them all to engage fully in the curriculum and learning.

About Me

Gus started his teaching career with us in 2024, and has proven to be a very dedicated teacher, committed to continuing his learning to be the best teacher he can be. Gus's quiet, calm nature, along with his twinkly sense of humour ensure that he is a hit with children, despite his wearing jandals everywhere he goes! Gus has shown strengths in teaching maths, and embracing the BTC pedagogy in our school.

Emma Longmore

About Me

Emma joined our team in 2024, having taught in a number of schools in the Otago area. Emma has a passion for the teaching of science, and is undertaking study in 2026 to extend her skills in working with gifted students. She currently leads our SPARK programme, and enjoys stretching the thinking of our GATE children.
