Vision
He kākano nō Rakiātea
I am a seed sown in Rakiātea. Although I am small, I will lead my people to the heights of greatness
He kākano ahau i ruia mai i Rakiātea,
I am a seed sown in Rakiātea
Ahakoa iti taku iti
Although I am small
Ka tūria e ahau ngā iwi o te ao
I will lead my people to the heights of greatness
What this means is that everything happens because of what has gone before, and it touches on the fact that well nurtured children have the potential to grow into anything they desire.
