Ka tūria e ahau ngā iwi o te ao
I will lead my people to the heights of greatness

What this means is that everything happens because of what has gone before, and it touches on the fact that well nurtured children have the potential to grow into anything they desire.

The birds symbolise staff and students excelling (soaring high) in the school values above the waves which represent the continuous learning to apply the school values in their daily lives.
