What is an Annual Report?

Schools are required, under the Education and Training Act 2020, to submit an Annual Report to the Ministry of Education by May 30, every year. This is the formal summary of the previous year, including achievements against the Annual Plan (Statement of Variance); an analysis of student progress and achievement for the previous year; how we have met our obligations to Te Tiriti o Waitangi; our audited financial reports; and other required confirmations of practice.

Who completes the Annual Report?

This report is completed by the Board, through the principal, and is approved at the second Board meeting of the year for uploading to the Ministry. It is a requirement that this report is included on the school website.
